what goes on in your mind
what are your thoughts
because i swear
you don't have any
if you left a flower without any care
it would wither away
so why would you neglect me
thoughtlessness
it hurts more than any words i could say
any of my wasted words
that don't seem to get through to you
so why do i even bother
i'm tired of wasting words
wasting myself on you
it's time to take care of myself
to always stand on my own two feet
and even though i'm tired of being on my own
me is all i have to count on in this world
